<p>is one of the most important steps in the marketing process.</p>
<p>As we all know, curb appeal has a definite impact on how potential buyers view our home, but that is just the beginning.  In today&#8217;s competitive market, sellers should take some time before putting their house on the market to stage the entire home both inside and out.</p>
<p>You must realistically look at your home through the eyes of a potential buyer.  Ask your friends, family, and Realtor for their input, and by all means do not take their comments to heart.  They are trying to help. Many sellers use the help of a professional staging company.</p>
<p>If you cannot afford to hire a professional, here are some simple and &#8220;do it yourself&#8221; suggestions you may want to consider for your home to become model quality.</p>
<h5 style="text-align: left;">Get Organized</h5>
<p>The first and probably the most critical task on the &#8220;to do&#8221; list is to de-clutter.  Buyers want to visualize themselves living in the home. This becomes easier if everything is organized. <p>Decorator ceiling fans and impressive lighting fixtures can create a dramatic affect for a room and add value to your home.  Replacing outdated chandeliers will improve the overall look and feel of a room, and the simple installation of a dimmer switch can upgrade the ambiance.</p>

<p>Outdoor planters can add warmth to your patio area and front entrance, and  can  hide a multitude of areas not so pleasing to the eye. If you happen to have a green thumb, indoor plants breathe life and warmth into a home.  If not, a few tasteful artificial plants strategically placed can work wonders.</p>
<h5>Blinds</h5>
<p>Window treatments typically stay with the home.  Buyers will definitely look at their condition and consider them part of the value of the home. Make sure they look their best, and replace when necessary. <h5><strong>Kitchen and Bath</strong></h5>

<h5><strong>Showings</strong></h5>

<p>Hopefully, these suggestions will add value to the list price of your home.  Talk honestly to your Realtor about the areas in your home that may need some staging expertise.</p>

It is located at the Jupiter Inlet, and is a monument to our local history. Although it isn&#8217;t found on a rocky cliff by the edge of the sea as some of our northern lighthouses,  it does have the distinction of standing on a prehistoric Indian shell mound forty feet high. </span></p>
